It was our last day at Compassvale Primary School, and it's been an eventful time for me.
The teachers are all friendly and ready to share their experiences with us, while the pupils are generally well-behaved.
I've had the opportunity to observe many different styles of teaching and classroom management, as well as experience it for myself when Wayne and I taught a Pri 2 and Pri 4 class on Tuesday and Wednesday.
I've also had the chance to be involved in the coaching of 4 pupils for their external oral examination and provide them with some tips that I've picked up from my classes in NIE.
So overall, I would say that it's been a fruitful 5 weeks for me and I've enjoyed myself.
Though I guess a small regret was that I didn't have the chance to join the Pupil Development Department Meeting (as I'm interested in this area), as the school has been very busy, and thus, has been having Staff Contact Time instead to update all the teachers on the various activities planned. Nevertheless, I've had some chats with some teachers from the department and found out more about the department.
But oh well, I guess there's always another time...
